Is Packshot AI an AI image generator?
Packshot AI combines a real-time 3D product studio with AI product photography. Your 3D product, label and branding remain the source of truth, while AI is used to create the surrounding scene, background and photographic environment.
Will AI change my label?
Packshot AI is designed to preserve the original product render and artwork wherever possible. AI is used primarily for the surrounding environment and photographic treatment.
Do I need to know 3D design?
Not at all. Pick a product, upload your artwork, and use the studio controls to change colors, materials, lighting, and the camera.
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. Explore the guest editor without registering. Sign in to save, export, or create another project. Free accounts can save up to three projects.
What can I upload and export?
Upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP artwork. Download a PNG or JPEG product image. Free exports are limited to 1024px and include a watermark.
What are AI credits?
AI credits are used for compute-intensive features such as product photography, lifestyle scene generation, Product Sets, label generation and upscaling. Normal 3D editing does not use AI credits.
Can I use Packshot AI for Shopify and Amazon?
Yes. Packshot AI includes export presets and Product Set workflows for ecommerce and social channels. Users remain responsible for checking the current requirements of each marketplace.
Do I need a physical product?
No. You can create product visuals from a 3D product model and your artwork before a physical sample exists.
Can I still use the 3D editor without AI?
Yes. The core 3D mockup workflow works independently of AI features.
